During the mid-term elections, a group of Arab and Muslim women organise to campaign for a candidate, led by the educator and activist Somia El Rowmeim. This video was made as part of the documentary course at the Columbia Graduate School of Journalism.

Profile of Joe Bochnyski an artist in mosaic tile, as he prepares his work for viewing at Bushwick Open Studios. At this event, guests are invited to the studio to view and critique. Joe shares his motivations for his piece, and the delicacy of explaining and sharing ones work with the public. 


Komsu is a collectively run cafe in Istanbul's Kadikoy neighborhood.

Travelers, migrants and artists pass through Komsu on their way somewhere else. Komsu was established in the spirit of Gezi park, when many alternative style cafes were springing up in Istanbul. Six years on Komsu is one of the few remaining places, and its members who came from many other middle eastern countries still hold on to the beliefs it was established with.

The Search Party

Awarded the Exeter Phoenix Film Commission, I co-directed, edited and produced this film. 

A woman who speaks very little english finds herself on a search party in the vast landscape of Dartmoor.

The Rooftops of Jerusalem
